2022 financial results

The Old Soldiers Home Foundation ended 2022 with our highest level of donations and program expenses yet! Thanks to continuing commitments from repeat donors, as well as many new donors this year, we were able to raise over $76,000. We spent nearly $54,000 on programs focused on improving the quality of life for enlisted veterans residing at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, including:

  • A new multi-sport court for basketball, pickleball, racquetball, and more

  • Patio furniture to encourage residents to get outside, socialize, and enjoy the home’s beautiful grounds

  • Two new recumbent trainers for residents and their physical therapists to use in the gym

  • Our first in-person event since COVID began, to celebrate Veterans Day with residents and supporters

  • Repeated contributions to get the golf and gardening programs up and running for the season

  • An Eagle Scout project to improve seating around the fishing pond

Thanks to everyone who helped make 2022 our best year yet. Let’s do even better in 2023!
