2024 financial results and transparency seal

The Old Soldiers Home Foundation had its best year so far in 2024, raising over $167,000 including our largest donations yet, and completing programs totaling nearly $126,000, including:

  • Our biggest project to-date updating the six guest suites at AFRH-Washington used by family and friends visiting residents

  • Purchasing two golf carts for staff to help upper level of care residents get out and about and enjoy the grounds, including a specially-built cart with a wheelchair ramp

  • Continuing our support of the golf course with equipment maintenance and supplies

  • Sustaining community events including our signature annual Veterans Day celebration

  • Help with new resident efforts such as quiltmaking and the auto hobby shop

And we are proud to once again maintain a Platinum Seal of Transparency with Candid since 2021!
