Film featuring AFRH residents

On October 9, 2025, the Old Soldiers Home Foundation hosted a premiere screening of a short documentary featuring the voices of Armed Forces Retirement Home residents Harry Miller, Milton and Kay Stark, and Carol Rhan; staff member Marine Robbins; and LeadingAge CEO Katie Smith-Sloan.

Produced by TaleGate and filmed on the historic retirement home campus and at iconic landmarks around Washington, D.C., the film offers a moving tribute to the lives and legacies of those who served, and to the vibrant veteran community they’ve shaped.
