Safeway Foundation continues support with $15,000 grant

The Safeway Foundation, together with WJLA News Channel 8, surprised the Foundation on the November 14, 2022 morning news show with a $15,000 grant. This third year of support by Safeway makes them our foundation’s largest contributor at $40,000 to-date. Beth Goldberg from Safeway Foundation presented the ceremonial check to Old Soliders Home Foundation Treasurer Travis Smith. WJLA spent the morning at the AFRH-Washington campus speaking with residents and Administrator Susan Bryhan, and provided breakfast treats to residents. Thank you Safeway Foundation and WJLA!
